Hieroglyph is a comic story about an American artist traveling through Egypt. Part travelogue and part creative non-fiction, Hieroglyph is based on sketches, drawings, notes, and comics from my 16-day tour of Egypt in January 2010. It explores the splendors of ancient Egypt against the modern-day slums and the vast cultural gap between the Haves and the Have Nots.
